Finding Your Message

Several years ago I hired a business coach to help me create my business, to help me figure out my compelling message and how to get clients.  The very first question I asked my business coach was "How do I figure out my message?".  After all, this is why I had hired this person to help me.  The response I received is something I'll never forget:  "Go out and talk to 100 clients."  I was a bit stunned by this response.  How the heck was I going to go out and talk to 100 clients when I had no idea how to help them?  

I stumbled at bit in the beginning.  I created several different businesses when I first started.  I always knew I wanted to work with women in business, that was the easy part.  I had a life coaching certificate, but quickly discovered that was not my true calling.  I have a degree in Business and wanted to use it and the many years in corporate to help small business owners.

After deciding that Tranquil Path and Engage for Growth were just not working.  I settled on a fabulous name for my business...Suzanne Smith Coaching.  Brilliant, don't you think?  After all, I wasn't going to change much.  Now I'm Suzanne Smith Coaching, coaching clients to achieve Success and Clarity.  I'm happy to tell you that I have now worked with over 100 clients over the past 4 years. 

Recently, I asked several clients what they felt my greatest strengths were.  Here is what they told me:  I help them clear mental clutter to achieve clarity.  I am intuitive and know what they need when they need it and finally that I am a facilitator of self discovery.  

I'm very clear in my message and my gifts as a result of coaching over 100 clients.  

Wanna know what my message is? You're gonna laugh, because I do.  My gift, my genius, is coaching entrepreneurs to identify their genius and their message in their business and guiding them to clarity and success.  Guess what, you don't have to talk to 100 clients to figure this out!  I figured out the formula.  Talk to me.
