Seriously, Let's Have Fun!

A business has to be involving, it has to be fun and it has to exercise your creative instincts.
— Sir Richard Branson

How many hours a day do you spend working? Are you spending 40 hours a week, more or less? If you're like me, I spend Monday to Friday working on my business in my office, sometimes with clients and sometimes creating new offerings. I then spend a significant amount of time outside of my office thinking about next steps or working on my personal development. I've found that I'm always thinking about my business. So, the 40 hours a week is really more like every waking minute. Oh wait, there are nights when I have an idea pop into my head around 3 a.m. too. So, clearly I'm thinking about my business way more than 40 hours a week, right?

Yes, my business is very involving. I'm passionate about what I do and I love the clients with whom I'm working. I'm delighted to tell you that I absolutely love my life, my business, my relationships, my clients and my work.

My work is also tapping into my creative soul. Which I just love. I get to create new ways to transform my clients to reach their goals. I tap into the training, experience, knowledge and wisdom from over 30 years (yes, I started very young). I love being able to create stories to reframe a client's experience and change their perspective. I absolutely love being able to tap into my creative side.

And, I need to have more fun. There I said it out loud to the Universe. Seriously, I wanna have more fun. I commit to playing more, laughing more and seeking fun in my business.

After all, if I'm going to spend almost 100% of my time and energy in this business, I need to imbue it with more fun.

What suggestions do you have for having more fun in your business?
